Pinoy Culture Fundraising for Typhoon Ondoy/Ketsana

In response to the tragic event that happened last Saturday in the Philippines, Pinoy Culture “The First Filipino Children’s Bookstore” in Toronto would like to help and raise much needed funding for those devastated by the recent typhoon.

I know how most of you feel, being abroad, trying to get a hold of any news and don’t know how and what to do to help.
I have first cousins and their children residing in Cainta, Rizal, whom my families both in the Philippines and here abroad has not heard from, however we are not loosing hope and continually pray for their safety.

Though we are thousands of miles away, our prayer and our helping hands can still reach them.

Over the course of the week, ALL PROFITS and more made by Pinoy Culture will be donated to those who are affected by the flood.

To help us achieve our goal during this time of crisis, we desperately need your help. By supporting Pinoy Culture, not only you’ll be getting precious Filipino books and merchandises but also be donating to a great cause to support our kababayan who have lost a lot during this tragedy.

You can make your purchase online at http://www.pinoyculture.ca/ or http://www.pinoycultureforkids.com/ or you can visit us personally at our store @ 87 Dewey Drive, Scarborough Ontario (see map below) we will be open to all at anytime 7 days a week during this fundraising event. You will also get a "20% OFF" online coupon code towards you next purchase.

Kapisanan Philippine Center (KPC) is also hosting a fundraising event on Saturday October 3, please check them out http://kapisanan.wordpress.com/
At KPC, you can donate old clothes, canned food and spare money while enjoying great poetry!
The Philippine Independence Day Council (PIDC) is also having their fundraising drive, please visit http://pidctoronto.com/projects/typhoon for more details.

Our country needs all our support and prayers during this time of great need.….

Please help and pass this message along, every bit of help will make a huge difference!!!!

Thank you,

Pinoy Culture @ Mabuhay Festival

We’d like to thank everyone for supporting Pinoy Culture @ Mabuhay Festival in MTCC last Saturday, July 18th. It was our very first tradeshow and we were very fortunate to have met most of you at the event. We were so overwhelmed by positive feedback from our kababayans and got the chance to chat with so many of you who shares the same passion as we do and understands the need of such products that Pinoy Culture offers here abroad.

So please expect more great things from us, as we continue to give you more products! more events! and more Pinoyness!

Again, thank you for your support and especially your encouragements!

Salamat po!
